From the hard work of the founding three members, establishing a hurling club, recruiting, training, and promoting hurling in the St. Louis Metro Area, a premier athletic club grew and prospered! Because of their dedication and sacrifices, the club celebrated its fifth year in 2007 with over 100 members! In our brief five years, we won a Junior C Hurling Championship in 2004 and a Junior D Football Championship in 2006!

The past couple years, Gaelic Football has grown to become a significant part of the club evidenced by its strong showing in the past three NACB tournaments. A great majority play both sports making us truly a Gaelic sports club.

To better reflect the make up of our club which plays the two main Irish (Gaelic) sports, Hurling and Football, we change our name to the “St. Louis Gaelic Athletic Club.” Our logo adds the football prominently. Our new web site address will be www.STLGAC.com (starting Friday), however www.stlhurling.com will continue point to our website also.
