If you’re looking to buy O’Neills gear (warm-ups, shirts, jerseys, etc.), the Club has an on-line shop through O’Neills that has gone live: http://www.oneills.com/shop-by-team/gaa/gaa-clubs/usa/st-louis-gac.html. Men’s travel jerseys will be added shortly. Also, before buying a travel jersey or a city league jersey, contact me because we have some in inventory. The Club gets a portion of each sale, so give the link to any friend who has commented on your O’Neills gear.Posted in STLGAC | 1 Comment June 24, 2014

As most of you may know, the Club is excited to have a new sponsor this year in Jameson’s. To raise funds for the Club, Jameson’s and Pernod Ricard will be holding tastings at our sponsor bars during the year. The first tasting will be held at O’Shay’s on the opening weekend of the Spring League from 6.30 to 8.30. Here is the deal: $20 gets you a tasting of 2 types of Jameson’s Whiskey, 2 types of Paddy’s Whiskey and a signature cocktail using Fris Vodka. It’s really an excellent value for $20, and it benefits the Club in doing so. It’s also a good opportunity to get some money from outside the Club, so send on the details to friends, family and co-workers. Also, O’Shay’s will have drink specials all night – including on the Fris cocktail. We will be selling tickets at practice tonight, over the weekend, and next week. You need to buy a ticket before next Wednesday because tickets are limited and because we need to know how much product will be there.Posted in STLGAC | 253 Comments February 18, 2014

At our Christmas party during December, we had 3 board member’s terms expire. One board member was re-elected and we also have 2 new incoming board members. The St. Louis Gaelic Athletic Club wants to thank Beth O’Malley who was our recent Registrar, and also to Grant Gorman for being the first ever Public Relations officer. In their place, Mike Reynolds was elected to the vacant Public Relations Officer, and Ken Dandridge was elected to the Registrar position. Landon Zirkelbach was also re-elected to Gaelic Football trainer.
Please congratulate new board members when you see them, and thank the old ones!
Hurling season is right around the corner, so be on the lookout for announcements!Posted in STLGAC | 330 Comments November 7, 2013
